Data Engineer (Fresher)
We are looking for a motivated Fresher Data Engineer to join our data team. The candidate will assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and databases to support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using ETL tools and SQL
- Collect, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data
- Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) to store and retrieve data efficiently
- Assist in building data warehouses and data lakes
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security
- Monitor data systems and troubleshoot issues
- Document data processes and workflows
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Python, SQL
- Basic understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing
- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
- Basic knowledge of Linux, Git, and APIs
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to Big Data tools such as Hadoop, Spark
- Basics of Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
- Knowledge of Airflow, Kafka, or other pipeline tools
- Internship or academic project experience in data engineering
