Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Fresher Data Engineer to join our data team. The candidate will assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and databases to support analytics, reporting, and business decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using ETL tools and SQL.
- Collect, clean, and transform structured and unstructured data.
- Work with databases (SQL & NoSQL) to store and retrieve data efficiently.
- Assist in building data warehouses and data lakes.
- Collaborate with Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and Software Engineers.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and security.
- Monitor data systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Document data processes and workflows.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Basic understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing.
- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Basic knowledge of Linux, Git, and APIs.
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Exposure to Big Data tools (Hadoop, Spark).
- Cloud platform basics (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Airflow, Kafka, or other pipeline tools.
- Internship or academic project experience in data engineering.
